My iPhone 15 Pro Max’s battery is draining super fast after updating to iOS 18

It happens after every iOS update. When did you update to iOS 18?

In the background, your iPhone is:

• Reindexing files for Spotlight
• Analyzing photos to take advantage of new algorithms for Face ID/Object Detection
• Building new database for Siri suggestions and Photo Memories.

It is also a good idea to perform a force restart after an update. This will perform additional cleanup.
