I’m having a lot of trouble with the Photos app since updating to 18.0 on my iPhone 15 Pro.
I posted earlier but it was removed. The app is now very glitchy. Can anyone help?

I didn't ask for your post to be removed, but I'm glad you cleaned it up.
My phone is working fine, though I'm trying to get used to the new formats. Plant ID and those sorts of things took a day or two to get all scanned and cataloged.
Just as "nothing works" in your previous post was pretty worthless and untrue, "very glitchy" doesn't help much. Can you be specific?
What percentage of your storage is free? Do you use iCloud Photos? Is "Optimize Storage" turned on for Photos?
Plant and Animal ID does not appear on the space below the picture. Where the icon is supposed to be at the bottom is and info icon.
When scrolling from photo to photo, the images merge and change shapes.
One photo I took is buried behind another. A photo from last year appeared as my latest photo. When I try to expand it, it magically turns into the actual other photo I took today.
That’s some of my “glitchy”.
Is Enhanced Visual Search turned on in Settings>apps >Photos?
(Honestly, I don't know what that does-- but it sounds relevant. If it's off, turning it on may still take time to work.)
It’s always been on. I talked to someone in Support that said they are aware of the various problems with the Photos app since the update. The fixes will be in the next update, whenever that is.
FYI - update did not fix my issues. Photos app still not working correctly.
