Error "login failed" appeared in the window, MacBook Air will not forward email

The last few days "login failed" appeared in the window. MacBook Air will not forward email. Did a few test to my wife and she didn't receive them. Not sure why this has happened at this time. Haven't had any issues for some time. Thanks for any suggestions.

Have you tried logging into your Yahoo account via the web to confirm that your login credentials are still valid and working? If you haven't, give that a try and see if you can log in. If you can't, then you'll need to take that up with Yahoo. If they work there, try removing your Yahoo account from Mail and re-adding it.
