For mac high sierra safari-preferences-websites-pop up windows how do I add websites to the list of configured websites
iMac 21.5″, macOS 10.13
Kinda strange way to do it...
Under the Safari Menubar item, when on the site you wish to add, select Settings for this Website. it will be added to the list & can then be edited in Safari Preferences>Website...
After 1337x was in currently open websites I went to select settings for this website but it was greyed out. I was able to select settings for this website before going to preferences but after it was greyed out. I have malwarebytes. Could that be a problem?
I doubt it's MalWareBytes causing it.
To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?
Did not seem to work. Did not get inserted under the configured websites. I have no idea how the first item got inserted.
And Safari was on the site you wanted to add & you clicked on this?
Are you running any VPN, Anti-Virus, or Cleaning apps?
