Cannot get Exchange emails while on wifi

I manage around 150 iPhones for our company and have never had an issue connecting to our Exchange server. However, all our users who have iPhone 15s or 16s cannot connect to our Exchange server while connected to wifi. When you turn these phones' Wi-Fi off, the emails will be updated. I have removed the accounts and set them up countless times. I have reset the phones completely. I have tweaked settings on our routers and reset them countless times trying to get to the root of this. I have looked for clues on the Exchange server itself. It does not seem to be an IOS version issue as I tested it with iPhones 11-14 with IOS 17-18 and none of them have issues except for the 15s and 16s. Help!

Can a computer connected to the same network get emails in Outlook from the Exchange server? I can’t think of anything on the phone offhand that would interfere with this.

What version of Exchange are you runnning?

Gaaah! 2013? Sorry, but you really really need to upgrade. That’s not ever remotely supported any more.

I honestly wouldn’t even bother trying to troubleshoot this.

The OWA works fine for email as well as Outlook-configured connections. Microsoft ActiveSync test checks out fine. All Android devices and iPhones 14 and earlier are behaving normally in this regard.

I appreciate your input. And also I hope you appreciate that many of us are stuck making do with what we have in the small business world. As much as I know that we have an older Exchange server, this issue really does not seem to have a single thing to do with that.

It very well could though. Those older servers handle traffic differently. Unfortunately, with such an out of date platform, as KiltedTim said, the troubleshooting is beyond that which can be done via the forums here.
