iPhone 11 lightning connection issue

Hello. I am trying to connect a Hollyland Lark M2 lav mic to an iPhone 11. The receiver that plugs into the iPhone has a lightning connector. When I plug in the receiver I get the following message: “Cannot Use Accessory-Apple Embedded USB Device. This accessory requires too much power”. The phone is running IOS 17.6.1

I confirmed in settings that the app for the lav mic has permission to access the iPhone mic. Has anyone seen this message before and if so, is there a solution? Thanks so much.

Ulanzi J12 mic not working with iPhone 14 Pro Hello, I have recently noticed that the Ulanzi j12 microphone has stopped working with my IPhone 14 Pro. The problem is that when the mic receiver is connected to the Lightning connector and the microphone is paired, the sound is constantly being picked up by the iPhone microphone instead of the Ulanzi. Previously there was no such problem and, in addition, I checked on an older model IPhone 13 and there the external microphone worked fine. So it comes out that it is not a problem with the Ulanzi microphone but with the IPhone. Are there any settings that may have blocked the external microphone from working? Is there any way to use the lightning port on an iPhone SE for external audio input (mic?)? My iPhone is the perfect size for small intimate video recording, and I would love to be able to plug in an external mic, but there is no "audio" port ... just the Lightning power port. Does anyone know if there are any adaptors that can provide conversion ... and/or if the internal wiring will allow it? GaryCD

DJI Mic Mini on "older" iPhones (13/14/14 Pro) I have recently bought a brand new DJI Mic Mini, which I predominantly use with my mirrorless camera, but I would also like to use it with my iPhone sometimes. Problem is that my phone (iPhone 13 Pro) is still using obsolete Lightning port, also the genuine DJI Lightning adapter doesn't come in the box, and in my country is either very hard to find one or is being sold separately for much higher price than the official one, which wouldn't suit my needs because I would use phone for a very specific shoots. Is there any way to use DJI Mic Mini with older iPhones other than the awful Bluetooth connectivity? Tried to connect the receiver on my phone via basic Type-C to Lightning adapter (supports both power and data) and the mic doesn't connect at all. Are there other 3rd party adapters/cables that can work with the mic itself?
