I am using iPhone 11 and AirPods Pro 2 (Firmware Version:7A302). Since I updated my phone to IOS 18 I have been facing distortion issues during phone calls. It's fine during Internet calls or Music playback. only happening with normal phone calls. Is anyone else also facing this issue?

This is happening with my brand new AirPod pro 2 and iPhone 14 Pro. Just bought my AirPods an hour ago and the sound is laggy, delayed, and distorted. Sometimes it completely cuts out.

I have a similar issue. But the sound distorts randomly (I believe) in different apps and while texting. It starts out fine, at some point starts to distort, and then disappears altogether. If I go to a different app and start typing, the sound is fine again.

Same. Only had it happen with the AirPods Pro 2 and my peloton. It starts out fine and then gets distorted to the point where I have to take it out. Then it takes me multiple tries of putting it on the case to get it to start working again.
I was having the same issue and was advised I needed a new pair of AirPods. Well the new pair is still doing the same distortion sound. So now I feel like they aren't interested on listening. I've been to the apple store and spoke to support three different times. I have also now reset my phone and new AirPods with noise still occurring.
15 Pro with new AirPod pro 2. Phone and AirPods are at the latest firmware.
