iTunes STILL playing choppy audio/video 10 years on

So I came back to Apple and iTunes after a more than 10 year absence and was looking forward to playing movies on a much more powerful computer than what I had last used with iTunes, only to find that the audi and video choppiness that made me leave in the first place for streaming services is still there.

I am running iTunes 12.13.3 (downloaded version, not Microsoft Store, please do not suggest that as a fix) on a fully updated version of Windows 11, with a 16 core, 4.5 MHz processor, installed on an SSD (with 43% free space) and a 3060 Ti, alongside 64 GB of system memory.

I tried looking but it does not seem there is any fix to this issue.
