I have been experiencing this issue for quite a long time now: I cannot add my Afterpay and Bankwest cards to my Apple wallet. I contacted both, and neither of them can figure out what the issue is, but for sure, it is on their end, but Apple's ( according to them). I contacted Apple support. They said the same thing.
I am getting frustrated.
Has anyone experienced the same issue?

We’ll deal with these issues separately. Afterpay card is added via the Afterpay app. Afterpay controls the verification and issuing of the token and adding it to Apple Wallet. Are you trying to add the card via the Afterpay app?

Is the Bankwest card a debit or credit card, and a Mastercard or Visa card? What is the exact error message you get when you try to add a card.
Yes, I have tried to add it via the Afterpay app, but it is not working. I had an afterpay card in my wallet. I ended up removing it from my Apple wallet because I was having trouble adding the Bankwest card to it. When I reinstalled the app, the afterpay card appeared under " previous card". Since I could not view the afterpay card details, I ended up cancelling it; I have been facing this issue since then. The Afterpay customer resolution team told me my device has an issue.
I bought a new iPhone and even tried creating a new Apple account, but it is not working.
It is a debit card(Bankwest), and both cards are Mastercards. The error message is "card not added. Contact your card issuer for more info." The same message appears for Afterpay.
Approximately when did you create the new Apple ID? When did you purchase the new iPhone?
I purchased the new iPhone approximately two weeks ago. I deleted the new Apple ID when I saw the error message persisting. I was at one of the Apple stores with the technician.
So, you deleted the new Apple ID and are using your old Apple ID or what exactly?
