iOS 18 battery drain

After an iOS update, it's common to experience an increased battery drain as certain tasks related to the update continue in the background including indexing, you should only experience this increased battery drain for a few days before it goes back to normal.

Well it’s been more than a couple of days and my iPad has to be charged at least 2x a day if not 3 since the update. That wasn’t the case before the update.
