I hate the new format of Calendar on version 18.0. I use both lines to identify events and now it only lists the first line. Is there any way to go back to the old style where I can see both lines (title and location)?

No, you can't go back. However, there are hundreds, possibly thousands of calendar apps available in the App Store. Perhaps one of them would suit you better,

Finding another app that meets your needs on the phone you already have seems like a more logical solution to me. But if you're looking for an excuse to get an Android phone, this is as good as any.

I agree, the iOS 18 Calendar is terrible. Just sent my feedback to Apple & hoping they can quickly get it back to its old glory.
Can I go back to previous Calendar version?
