Apple Classroom After iPad OS 18 update

I cannot see one of my student's ipads (says disconnected) after iPad was updated to IOS 18. Is there any fix to this as the students like to update the iPads without my permission? Is Classroom an App now instead of being built into the OS? This is the first one to my knowledge that has been updated... more to come I'm sure

How do I unhide students school iPad settings? Some of my students are hiding there iPad settings from me and that has became an issue connecting to WiFi with the students settings because he confessed because he couldn’t get to his wifi
