How to confirm latest firmware release for Beats Flex

My iPhone 14 Pro Max (running IOS 17.6.1) has difficulty connecting to my Beats Flex (firmware 3.7.2). How can I check to confirm that my Beats Flex firmware is current? (Yes, I know that it is supposed to update automatically in the background. But, my iPhone does not until I hit the button. So I am concerned that there is a firmware update for the Beats Flex but it hasn't installed). Thank you.

It doesn't seem that you can check your installation against a list of updates.

As you indicate, Apple says in Update your Beats wireless headphones or earphones that "Firmware updates are delivered automatically while your Beats headphones or earphones are charging and in Bluetooth range of your iPhone, iPad, or Mac that's connected to Wi-Fi. You can also use your iPhone, iPad, or Mac to check that your Beats have the latest version." This suggests that there is no way you can control the firmware update, either to pause its installation or to do it yourself.

I would imagine too that that last part of the statement about checking the latest version is by seeing if there is an update to install, and if there is not then you have the latest firmware.

This doesn't really progress your query, but the answer seems to be that you can't control it.
