i bought a used iphone 14 pro max recently. its battery health was 100 percent and cycle count 242. it has recently decreased 4 percent in 5 weeks. is this normal because i have heard that healthy battery loses one percent in one month!
What I'm surprised about was that it read 100% when you bought it, with that cycle count. With 242 cycles it should be closer to 88%.

According to the above quoted information, you could be losing almost 2% per month the entire first year before Apple would deem this to merit a warranty replacement. Ultimately the only thing that really matters is does it appear to be time to change the battery or not.
