IBook Allowed on ALL Devices

I will keep it simply. IBook/ Apple Books should be allowed on ALL devices so consumers can enjoy reading across multiple platforms. This will increase the flow of patrons to the Apple community if it is opened up for enjoyment. Please remember you charge consumers, all books that are purchased belong or should belong to the consumer, right???? Why would you hold products that was purchased hostage. You allow for Apple music and Apple TV. I am not sure why you would hold information, purchased hostage????

The Books app can be used on Apple Devices only.

Books that you purchase are not owned by you; the content is licensed for your use within Apple Books

Thanks for the clarification. But they are charging a fee for each book instead of a monthly subscription like Kindle. Where you can read and exchange for a flat monthly fee and is acceptable on many platforms. So are the rates on Apple discounted since you only have one platform and there is no way to exchange materials? Just asking

Thank you for the feedback
