Siri won't stop Playing Music when commended to do so.

Up until few days ago, when I would be playing apple music in my vehicle with Carpuride Carplay, if I wanted to stop playing music I would say, "Hey Siri, stop music", and it would stop. Now that I upgraded to iPhone 16 Pro Max, for some reason, when I say "Hey Siri, stop music", it just pauses the music for a second then keeps playing. I actually have to hit the pause button on the steering wheal (Highlander Hybrid 2014) or the screen to actually stop. Very frustrating and inconvenient, not sure if this will be addressed in an update or if there is a setting change I can make.
