I bought a mac in-store, and the sales man said that i could trade in my old mac after receiving the new Mac, and get the credit towards my account. I wonder how can i do that on website, because now it only give me options to trade-in if i purchase another Mac

You cannot now do this on line. Through the on-line Apple Store the trade-in must be set up at the time you purchase the Mac. You cannot now go back and do a trade-in on a Mac you purchased at a local Apple Store. You will need to go back to the store and work with them to get your trade-in value.
