Okay I have finished my iMovie project and would like to store it on my PC. I have saved it to a file and it shows up on iCloud on my PC but then it asks for an app to view it. Any suggestion as to the best app to select. I want to save it onto my PC rather than having it stored on my iPhone and taking up memory.

Just download it from the cloud, double-click it and it will open with QuickTime Player if you have a Mac.
If you have a Windows computer it will probably still open but if it doesn't download the FREE VLC media player.
Ian, I tried to open up the file and none of the apps on my PC would allow me to open it. Then I hit on the link that you included and started the install, however it took me to a "Wave Browser" and I would have to pay for it?
Okay I actually had hit on the wrong down load so I went back and installed the VCL media player. It loaded the iMovie but only a portion of it and it had a bunch of letters on the buttom of the screen which did disappear. However it only loaded a small portion of the movie and the image was vertical and narrow and not a full image like what appear on both my iPhone and my TV
Is your phone video a proper horizontal (landscape)one or is it vertical (portrait)?
I have never had a problem with VLC so I have no idea what is wrong . . . it is most likely something unusual about your video unless you have done something strange with VLC.
It's probably one of the world's most used player.
Ian this is the most recent, I finally got the iMovie to download and play on VLC, now my question is when I am in VLC how do I get it to save in the program? It is saved in my files on my PC but can I save it right in the program? Thanks
Ian, I have now save it in the horizontal mode but it is really interesting it will play the music but it will not show the timeline clips? Any other suggestions?
If you can play the video it is already saved. Why would you want to save it again?
