SD card readers getting very hot since Sequoia
Both of my USB-C SD card readers are getting very hot since installing sequoia. This is on an M2 MBA with 16 GB of RAM. The Kiwibird in particular was beyond too hot to touch and I had to use a cloth to remove it. It was also misbehaving and disconnecting when it got very hot - no surprise there. My Anker SD card to USB-C is also getting very hot but not quite as hot as the Kiwibird. I really depend on these devices to download the large DNG files from the SDXC cards from my 60 Megapixel Leica Q3 and 40 Megapixel Leica M10-R, with no errors, no delays and no hiccoughs. I think on the M10-R I can certainly connect a USB-c to Mini-HDMI cable, (except my cable like this is back in the UK, whereas I am currently at my French house) for file downloads and after a firmware update due probably this week, after the announcement of the new Q3-43, I expect to be able to do something similar with my Q3-28.
Are others getting this overheating problem on SD card readers using Sequoia?
