I cannot convert a Preview document to a pdf document under Print in Mac

Clicking PDF -> Save as PDF in the Preview print dialog should work, and it seems that your actions were correct. Did you receive an error after that? If so, could you please provide a screenshot?
What happens when you try? Are you getting some kind of error message? If so, what does it say? A screenshot might be helpful.
