Impossible to use pCloud drive after installing Sequoia on a usb-c external drive.

I am using the pCloud software and provider as a back-up/sync cloud drive with Sonoma installed on the internal SSD drive of my MacStudio M1.

pCloud relies on MacFuse to open the remote server drive. Everything works fine with Sonoma, whether installed on the internal SSD or on a usb-c external drive (used as a backup bootable drive).

After upgrading to MacOs15 on the usb drive, it is now impossible to access the pCloud server drive as I am stuck in a loop with this never-ending message after each reboot :

"Please open the Privacy & Security System Settings and allow loading system software from developer "PCLOUD LTD". A restart might be required before the system extension can be loaded."

Although I removed and reinstalled both MacFuse and pCloud (last versions supposed to be compatible with sequoia), changed the security settings in recovery mode to minimum and gone to Privacy/Security to allow the loading of the software, the extension bug is still there...

Please note that I reformatted the partition on the usb drive and did a clean install without any migration from my current system. I also tried to remove extensions by starting in recovery mode and using the kmutil command.

Nothing worked, pCloud support did not provide any solution.

So, I'm back to Sonoma until this is solved. Any ideas on how to solve this other than wait for apple and pCloud to upgrade ? Is it linked with the use of an external usb drive ?

To complement my observation above, I have used a different way to do a test upgrade : using a partition of the internal MacStudio SSD. After some difficulties involving a call to the Applecare support and a second install (clean this time), I finally managed to succeed running the pCloud extension on Sequoia. To me this demonstrates that Apple is putting more and more barriers against using non-apple equipment; by the way, the install I did on the external drive was far from seamless ending in this dead end...

And I have found that VPN does not work properly with Sequoia. So back to Sonoma again... Is this issue coming from Apple's pathological obsession with restraining our ability to work the way customers want to claiming a better security (Which should apply only to corporate business). Please, someone, find another S. Jobs to lead the way !
