cant turn off transparency mode on airpods pro 2

When i go to control center to turn the noise control to off, it gives 3 dull beats but doesn’t switch. It won’t switch out of transparency if im wearing one and noise cancellation if im wearing both. I have reset the airpods multiple times and it still doesn’t work

AirPods Pro (1st generation) will not noise cancel or go into transparency When I use my airpods pros I normally use them in noise canceling but, when I tried to go into transparency mode the other day my airpods will not switch between any modes and will not noise cancel. I have switched devices, turned the devices off, reconnected airpods, let airpods fully charge, and everything I could think of. I have had these for a while so I don't know if its just time for a new pair but they still work fine other than those features. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Why does my AirPods Pro 2 keep turning off Custom Transparency Mode? Like numerous individuals in the Community, my AirPods Pro 2 is also prone to the issue of turning off Custom Transparency Mode in Settings randomly. I'm currently on version 7A305. The issue appears not to have been resolved. Without this function, the (OTC) hearing-aid claim of AirPods Pro 2 is, to my mind, completely negligible. [Re-Titled by Moderator]

it could be a firmware or hardware issue. Ensure your iOS is updated, and try unpairing and re-pairing the AirPods. If the issue persists, contact Apple Support, as it may require further troubleshooting.
