Gifting my iPhone 11 pro max to a family member; How do I transfer her my Applecare+ with the device included? She’s 80 year old and doesn’t know much of tech so I want to keep the phone ensured. Or can she add her own with her account? I’ve had this phone since its release. Any advice helps. Thank you!

Are you paying for AppleCare on a monthly basis or did you pay for the coverage upfront? iPhone 11 was discontinued in November 2023, so if you paid up front, there really won't be much plan coverage left in the first place. I paid the 2 years Applecare +, but then doing the Month to Month. When I do transfer it to her; do go back to the 2 years? Honestly this helps a lot. Thank you! I appreciate this😊
Once you go to the monthly plan, you have to stay on the monthly plan where you pay for it every month.
