apps not downloading onto my apple watch

when i try to download apps onto my watch, it just keeps spinning and never downloading. ex: i tried downloading spotify onto my watch but it has been spinning for a while now. does anyone know how to fix this issue?

Have you tried restarting your Watch? Or loading the app from your iPhone?
