Disappear 600GB photos library in storage

I opened old photos library on Mac. It asked me to merge with the current photos library. I click yes. After that the photos library can’t be opened. It took me to repair menu I hit repair bottom, it did not show any old library on my Mac. In my Mac I only have 3GB left to full storage. Then I open the storage to check how many storage left I have 600GB free. I can’t see the old photos library that I have now. I try to recover it with multiple recovery software, I could not get any pics and videos back. What should I do to recover old photos library??!! I do not have Time Machine backup and iCloud backup. Thank you.

The first thing you must do is make space on the hard disk. Nothing can be done until you do. Running a Mac with so little disk space always risks problems. The rule of thumb is that you should always have at least 10 gigs of free space for ordinary OS operations.

Secondly: a back up of important data is a basic requirement. It's like the seatbelt in your car. You don't need it most of the time but the when you do it will be needed unexpectedly and fast.
