Unable to update drivers for my Printers on my iMac running macOS Ventura

Hi, your help is needed please! I am running Ventura on my mac and operate an Epson WF/2935 & a Cannon TS7451a. Last week both printers failed to communicate so now have no operating printer. They both do however operate from my iPad or iPhone. I have tried replacing drivers for both on IMac but they fail to load on either machine and won’t allow update ssying “Some updates could not be installed because “Install in progress” interrupted restart !!! Any ideas where I go from here please?
