I updated my Macbook pro 2016 to Monterey (I believe that's the best I am going to be able to upgrade to on this machine, there is no option to go further).
But now it won't allow me to use FCPX as I have v10.4.8 - But it also won't allow me to update FCPX in the App Store. No option to do so.
Have I hit my limit as my MacBook is old? Any way I can use FCPX without having to spend £2k on a new Macbook Pro?

Move the application to the trash and try to redownload it from your Purchased page, not from the application page.
