If I book an appointment in store for a screen replacement on an iPhone, is this done whilst I wait or do I need to leave the phone and collect on a different day?

Assuming that the shop has the parts needed in stock.....(they should if you have made an appointment).....plan on dropping off the phone and picking it up 2-3 hours later.

If you make a reservation at an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider, they offer same-day screen repair.
