Why is my iPhone 13 not eligible for trade-in?

It had on the website that my iPhone 13 is estimated at about $250 on trade in. Then after doing everything and sending it to them. I get an email saying it's ineligible . Why have it on the list. When you put your model in just say no. My phone is in impeccable shape. never out of a case.

I purchased this phone in Florida in 2023 and did not finance it. I paid for the device in full. The agent on the phone suggested trying another store but that is like 1 hour from me. Does anyone have an idea on what causes this in the store during the trade in process and how to fix this? Apple Support can't escalate it as they have told me on the phone there is no department to escalate this issue to.

iPhone Trade-In Not Received By Apple I sent my iPhone 15 Pro to Apple on 09/21. They received it on 10/2. I got an email on 10/3 stating I have only a few more days to return the device. I called Apple and they started an escalation. Fast forward to today 10/6, I get another email that I have one more day left to send the device or my loan will resume. I called back Apple. This lady had me on hold for 20 minutes with no solution. My brother’s trade-in is following the same path. We are in two different towns, with two different orders so they aren’t connected but experiencing the same. Is anyone else experiencing this and do you have any suggestions? How can Apple hold us to 14 days when they cannot handle the 14 days themselves?

Trade-in question for iPhone Pro 16 During yesterday‘s Apple announcement, it was said that you could get up to $1000 trade-in if you had an iPhone 12 Pro or newer. On the Apple website today, it says the max is $650 for a trade-in. I have a iPhone 14 Pro that is an excellent condition so I’m curious if the $1000 trade-in is true. I have attached screenshots of the trade-ins discussed.

Did you ever have any parts replaced by a non-Apple repair shop such as a battery or display?

If so, that will render your phone worthless to Apple.

That’s an estimated value provided on the Trade-In website. However, they still need to inspect the device, and if they find any issues, they’ll either deduct or make the device ineligible for the trade value.
