IOS 18 iMessage effects not working

I updated my IPhone 13 to iOS 18, now my iMessage effects do not work. I’ve checked my motion and animation settings, toggled them off and on, restarted my phone, all the online suggestions, everything is enabled but no luck. Anyone else?
