MacBook won't connect to Epson Projector

I worked for several hours recently trying to get my MB Air to connect

to an Epson projector. Trouble shooting involved two calls to Apple

Support and a call to Epson, downloading a driver from Epson, swapping

out a variety of cords all to no avail. IMy iOS is the latest version of Sonoma. Looking

for a solution here.

we couldn't get epson 3880 to work on our new Mac ...so we removed it and tried to copy it to new computer, then get new driver than would work with Ventura 13.3.1(a). we can't even get epson disk to load, now. what can we do? we tried to load our epson 3880 on our relativelynew Mac Book Pro, Ventura 13.3.1(a).
