How to turn off Apple's constant reminders to use 2FA

THE BACKGROUND: Apple's 2FA is poorly designed, as it assumes everyone stays home and never travels, or always uses the same SIM card internationally. That doesn't apply to me or thousands of others. I travel often, and change my SIM in some different countries. This means that should I enable 2FA my iPhone becomes useless for travel as the verification code is sent to a single SIM.

THE QUESTION: So, please, is there some way to turn off the very annoying constant demands to unlock my account because I haven't "enabled 2FA"? I don't want it. It is unusable for me. After the first 1,000 times of telling Apple I do not want to "upgrade" I would think they got the message. But no. The demands to "unlock my phone" were not so bad to start with, but now are now almost daily.

A SUGGESTION:

Apple could allow us to enter 2 or 3 SIMS for 2FA (and add new ones easily) so we can choose between them when sending Apple wants to send authentication messages.

FINALLY: This has become a deal breaker for me. It is really disruptive and time consuming. If it isn't fixed before my next phone change-over I'll have to drop Apple after 15 years of otherwise happy use of the iPhone.

Mobile brand/model selection is an individual choice based on many parameters. Such as Money, Feature, Status, Aesthetic, Utility, User-Friendliness, Availability, Warranty Coverage, Service Support, Resale value, Technology and many other factors. Choose yours judiciously!

Thankyou for your comment. Yes, our choices are made on numerous parameters. For me, as noted, one important parameter is the ability to access and use the phone quickly in meetings etc. To suddenly have to apologize for a delay because I have to a) enter my passcode b) then provide my birthdate c) then answer security questions d) then re-enter my passcode (again!) is incredibly frustrating. As I noted, it is a dealbreaker for me if it is not addressed before my next changeover. I suspect the Apple 2FA system is not looked on kindly by those others in the same predicament as me, who do not want a feature with the restrictions of use that Apple seems intent on forcing on us. I wouldn't mind if it was once a month, or even once a week, but daily?? Maybe it isn't a deal breaker for others, but it certainly is for me.
