How to turn off Apple's constant reminders to use 2FA
THE BACKGROUND: Apple's 2FA is poorly designed, as it assumes everyone stays home and never travels, or always uses the same SIM card internationally. That doesn't apply to me or thousands of others. I travel often, and change my SIM in some different countries. This means that should I enable 2FA my iPhone becomes useless for travel as the verification code is sent to a single SIM.
THE QUESTION: So, please, is there some way to turn off the very annoying constant demands to unlock my account because I haven't "enabled 2FA"? I don't want it. It is unusable for me. After the first 1,000 times of telling Apple I do not want to "upgrade" I would think they got the message. But no. The demands to "unlock my phone" were not so bad to start with, but now are now almost daily.
A SUGGESTION:
Apple could allow us to enter 2 or 3 SIMS for 2FA (and add new ones easily) so we can choose between them when sending Apple wants to send authentication messages.
FINALLY: This has become a deal breaker for me. It is really disruptive and time consuming. If it isn't fixed before my next phone change-over I'll have to drop Apple after 15 years of otherwise happy use of the iPhone.
