Apps in my Apple TV get offloaded when I turn off.

After the recent update on my Apple TV, I've noticed that every time I open an app (especially after not using the TV for a while), it reloads or reinstalls itself. This happens daily, and it's frustrating because it takes about 4-5 seconds each time. I’m not sure if I accidentally enabled a setting, but this issue started only after the update. Has anyone else experienced this?

There is a setting* to automatically offload apps that haven’t been accessed in a long time (“unused”). You can turn that off if you want. Automatic offloading may happen more often if disk space is tight. You can recognize offloaded apps by the cloud-download icon in front of the name (when highlighted).
