Are dbrand skins effective for Macbook Air Protection?

Anything you put on the outside of your Mac will interfere with heat dissipation. Just don't. If I'm not using a bag with a padded section or am just carrying my MBP, I use a padded neoprene sleeve. It was less than $20 on Amazon at least ten years ago. I've never gotten noticeable scratches on any of my MBA/MBPs over the years. I've always gotten full trade-in value.

And never, ever put anything over the keys. That's an express ticket to screen damage.

My recommendation is to not use "skins". The computer already has a hard case. Get a soft sleeve or computer backpack for transporting your computer. Make sure the computer is off before placing it in a sleeve or backpack.
