What method do I use to re-record a voicemail message I am leaving since 1. # no longer works consistently or 2. no prompt asks me if I’m still there?
Yet again, a valuable, trusted feature that ceases to exist AOAS. This is VERY FRUSTRATING AND ANNOYING!!!!!

Voicemail is a carrier feature, ask them for help. The prompts you get are generated by them, not Apple or the phone.
If you are having issues right now and your carrier is Verizon, they are having an outage right now and could be the cause of your problem.
