sirius app on Apple tV pauses its audio output , I found that by changing to the latest sirius updated Apple tv app and signing in on the new app, seems to have solved this issue for me hope this may help others

I had the same experience, but just to be clear, IT IS AN ENTIRELY NEW APP. The old Sirius XM App needs to be DELETED, and a different/new Sirius XM App needs to downloaded and connected to your account.
The OLD app is no longer available on the App Store.
Just want to bump this reply because there is no clear evidence that the app needs to be fully replaced. Thanks for the response, I was tearing my hair out wondering why it would no longer play continuously
