getting rid of ear in control center

Hello! I just redid my control center and for some reason no matter how much I delete it the “ear” control center button keeps popping up. How do I remove it permanently? I’ll delete it and it will just re-add itself.

iPhone 15 Pro Max, iOS 18

Am no expert in this area, yet your question certainly deserves some response.

Wondering if there is another hearing setting in place that is influencing the appearance of the "ear" button in Control Centre.

Eg: If used, hearing devices may automatically reconnect to iPhone whenever they turn on.

If set, you may be able to turn off "show in Control Centre"

look in Settings > Accessibility, then scroll down to the Hearing section.

> Hearing Devices > MFi Hearing Devices.

or See: Use hearing devices with iPhone - Apple Support

You may want to check other Settings > Accessibility > Audio & Visual

or See how to: Adjust audio settings on iPhone - Apple Support
