All of a sudden WhatsApp won't finish updating on my Macbook. Everything is updated, I have plenty of space but I keep getting this message. I have deleted it and downloaded it again to no avail. Help! FYI, it works fine on iPhone and iPad.

Try to start up in Safe mode, then normal boot could solve your issue.
If it doesn't help, try to make another admin account and try to download WhatApp if it could.

Thanks for that. Oddly enough, it seems to have suddenly started working again. No idea why that particular app wouldn't update.
