macOS Sequoia 15.0 SSL ERR - ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR

After updating to macOS Sequoia Version 15.0, while browsing browser is giving ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR. This is not to a specific URL or no issue with LAN. Started to happen only after on MacBook after updating to macOS 15. Other devices(Windows/Mobile) in LAN including MacBooks with version below 15.0 are not facing this issue. Any solution for this issue yet?

Did Chrome reinstallation and updated to later version. Did not fix the issue. I have updated MacOS to 15.0.1 and issue seems fixed now. No SSL error occurred yet after update.

I am having the exact same issue since upgrading to 15.0, and then to 15.0.1.

I am using latest Chrome mostly and it happens across a variety of sites. I've tried changing Time servers (clock drift), using/not using VPN, using cellular hotspot vs Wifi, and it continues to persist. I've reinstalled Google Chrome, and reset all its settings and disabled extensions as well as using Incognito.

I've also noticed that Slack huddles die after about 2-3 minutes now, and MSFT Teams - while more resilient than slack - will glitch on longer meetings.

I am having this issue too, but on macOS 15.1.1. It seems to affect Chrome primarily, but I even had issues with Node 22 installed via home-brew, getting some random errors and sometimes they mentioned SSL. Installing Node 22 from the package installer in the official website seems to have fixed it, but I couldn't find a workaround for Chrome yet. I tried both Chrome and Chrome Canary, but both have the issue.

I have been using Google Chrome and this issue is very common after upgrading to macOS 15. Used Microsoft Edge to see if issue arises, this issue is there but few compare to Google Chrome. Used Safari browser few times, haven't face issue yet. Cannot confirm this doesn't happen in Safari browser since I have used less times than other browsers.

I am not using any VPN plus I cannot turn off firewall since it's managed by administrator. Also, I believe turning off firewall won't be a practical solution for this.

Try a different browsers...this would add some clarity(?)

Try turning off your the firewall option in settings

try disabling any VPN

and compare your results
