icloud on chrome windows 11 unable to paste pictures into a note

why can I not paste pictures directly into icloud notes while using chrome browser ?

surely this should be a simple and easy task like copy and pasting into a word document ?

Is that on a mac and on a PC or both ?

Google happily allow you adding media into google docs, nothing to fancy to code for the dev's

Prolly some kind of spiteful action from Apple or just could not be bothered to provide that for windows users.

You cannot. Adding media through a browser is not supported.

Both. Media cannot be added. iCloud serves primarily to sync notes across devices. The online access to notes, photos, etc. is not designed with the rich feature sets found on device.
