Mavericks Install not working

I have a 2010 Macbook Pro 13" I'm trying to fix for a friend, I have a new SSD for it but nothing will load with it plugged in. The original HDD was wiped and will not go into recovery mode, will only boot into OS X Utilities. It wasn't connecting to the server originally, but fixing the date/time in the terminal fixed that. After agreeing to the TOS it prompts you to enter Apple ID, after that it says Apple account creation is not available from the Mac App Store and just returns you to the Apple ID login page. I would like to get this running so I can make a bootable usb for installing the new SSD.

Try booting into Internet Recovery Mode using Command + Option + R to see if you can access the online High Sierra installer. If you receive any errors, then please make sure to provide us with the complete error message & when in the process you received that error.

What is the exact make & model of the SSD? Not all SSDs are compatible with all computers. The older the computer the more compatibility issues which can arise.

Do you have access to another working Mac with a model from 2007 to mid-2018? If so, then you can use that other Mac to create a bootable macOS USB installer. The model of the other Mac will determine which OS installer you can create with it. You can get the exact model of a Mac by clicking the Apple menu & selecting "About This Mac".

Otherwise you will need to use the original gray macOS Restoration DVD which shipped with the laptop from the factory in order to reinstall OS X 10.6.3/10.6.4 Snow Leopard. Once you have Snow Leopard installed, then you can download & install macOS 10.11 El Capitan (will need to be downloaded from any other computer & transfer the DMG file to this 2010 laptop), followed by downloading & installing macOS 10.13 High Sierra.
