Unable to connect my old iPod to iTunes on Windows 10

unable to connect my old ipod to itunes on Windows 10.

I've tried others' ways and was trying to mannually set up the drive path for my ipod. I already located it to the exact location where the usbaapl64 file EXISTS. However, windows keeps telling me that "the folder you specified doesn't contain a compatible software driver for your device. If the folder contains a driver, make sure it is designed to work with windows for x64-based systems."

The driver is JUST THERE with the x64 version.

What can I do???
