Got iOS18 and was excited to be able to record videos while listening to Spotify.
When I tried it today, my music still automatically pauses and
there's no way to unpause as that would just stop the recording. I have
Allow Audio Playback toggled.
Is this a bug or am I doing it wrong?

This is probably a bug, try doing it the old way: go to your camera app but stay in the “photo” tab instead of the “video” tab and just drag the shutter button to the right. That should work.
It is pausing most likely for copyright protection so you can't record copyrighted material to video.
Found the solution:
Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Then why does it still pause when I'm playing music in my AirPods?
Also, I don't think copyrighted music being inside a recorded video is a big concern, it's the distribution of the copyrighted material.
The thing is even this doesn’t work anymore (with and without Audio playback being toggled).
