Unable to connect my iPod 4th Generation to App Store and iCloud

For security reasons 4th generation and older iPod Touches can no longer connect to the app store. What's more, there are probably no apps left on the store that will work with the iOS available on the older iPods.

No. a while ago, Apple discovered a security problem with access to the Apple store.

The iOS upgrade that was necessary to fix the security problem

required a processor with more capacity than exists in an 4th generation

iPod touch. So there is no way to get access to the apple store from your iPod.
