Failed Mac Studio Internal Ethernet Prevents App Store Download

I purchased a new Apple Mac Studio in May 2022.  Fourteen months later, its internal Ethernet failed.  Apple refused to make it right for me, two months outside of the warranty.  I purchased a USB-Ethernet adapter (Anker USB C to Gigabit Ethernet Adapter A8341).

Yesterday, I attempted to purchase software from the App Store.  After downloading the software to my Mac Studio, I double-clicked its icon.  The system informed me that the software was damaged, and, that I should remove it from the Applications folder, then, reattempt the download.  I did so, several times, with a few restarts, unsuccessfully.  I contacted the developer.  He was very prompt, friendly, and helpful. He provided a procedure, which did not solve the problem.  He inquired about my system.  I described it to him, including the failed internal Ethernet, and, the USB-Ethernet adapter.  He stated that Apple's App Store receipts are keyed to the internal Ethernet hardware address of the machine, and, if that isn't working correctly, it breaks any app that checks the receipt when it starts up.

I downloaded this software application on my other Mac, successfully.

Are there any alternate methods to bypass the failed internal Ethernet receipt identification?
