I have Iphone 15 and itself running on IOS18. Only way I could notice if my phone is in silent mode is through side switch which can be difficult in dark. There is no mute icon in status bar. I noticed that Iphone 15 pro has that setting to toggle that in status bar. Why is it not in Iphone 15?

Just curious how flipping the side switch up or down in the dark is hard?
You just need to feel not see.
Because that’s how Apple designed it. We can’t answer any question as to why they made the design decision they did.
