Hi,
I have a iMac M1 and its only recently I have notice these overlapping lines at the bottom of the screen.
I erased and reinstalled Mac OS Sonoma 14.7 with no difference. Ive taken screen shots and the lines don't show up there. I will post a photo below any help is much appreciated.

Since the lines don't show in a screen shot, there is a problem with the display. You should have Apple take a look at it.

Screenshots are taken at the Video card, so as dialabrain says, it's either the display or the cable from the Video card to the Screen.
