Why are my Shared albums not syncing to my iPhone 13?

I recently switched from an iPhone 12 to a 13. I backed up everything on the iCloud before doing so. Upon checking Photos on the iPhone 13, not all the Shared Albums appeared, and the albums that were there did not contain any photos. I checked my Macbook Pro and all the Shared Albums are still there, with all the photos. Why is it not syncing with my iPhone?

I searched some answers (If Shared Albums aren't working - Apple Support) and it's telling me to turn off Shared Albums in Settings and turn it back on after 10 minutes. When I tap on the icon, it says "Turning off Shared Albums will delete all shared photos from your iPhone." I'm afraid to proceed as it may totally delete all shared photos, even the ones on my Mac. These are quite important photos. I hope someone can help.

I am having the same problem. Did turn off shared albums and they all were restored when I turned them back on. I’ve had this since hurricane Helene.

Finally tried to turn off Shared Albums several times, and a different number of albums appear each time --- but still, no photos! I even tried to turn off my phone, and to no avail. Good thing I still have the albums and photos in my Macbook. Please let me know if you've found a way to restore all shared albums with photos in your iPhone. Thank you!
