Since the update 18, i can set the view to folder, but the next time i open the email, it isn’t in folder anymore. Not some time……..all the time. I have looked everywhere for a solution, but haven’t been successful yet.

Remove you present email address from Mail. Re-enter it in Mail.
If it's a Hotmail or Outlook email try using the Exchange option. Sometimes it works sometimes it doesn't for those MS emails. If that doesn't work for either try using Outlook from the app store to see if it works
