Why are vertically oriented photos cropped on the Photos app after the iOS 18 update?
Why are vertically oriented pictures so aggressively cropped??? These phones are already small enough.
You add an additional tap the enlarge pictures. but it doesn’t work for every picture. Also, really… an additional tap. I get you wanted to fix the controls but it’s a photos app. The actually photo comes first.
So I’m stuck with 1000s of miniature pictures that I have to manually zoom and perfectly crop so people the can see them on my phone (this has already played out in real life)
